Established in 2002, Avalon Accounting was created in response to the appeal for honest, pragmatic practitioners in the accounting industry.
Founder and principal, Kristina Haskell, noticed that customer service had become “a thing of the past” in the accounting industry, and that too often intimidation tactics were employed that were ultimately of no benefit to the client. So, from day one, Kristina focused on servicing her clients accounting needs with the highest level of integrity and excellence.

ABOUT KRISTINA HASKELL
Arizona native, Kristina Haskell, moved from Winslow to Phoenix to make a difference in people’s lives, both personally and professionally. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and acquiring extensive traditional accounting experience during her studies and work, she established Avalon Accounting.
Part of the success equation for the firm is Kristina’s belief, backed with action, in community service. She is involved in many non-profit groups, is a member of the Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council and is certified by The City of Phoenix, Maricopa County and the State of Arizona. On June 8th, Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon extended to Kristina Haskell a position on the Human Relations Commission (HRC). She accepted an oath of office to serve a three year term on the Commission. Ms. Haskell also serves as Board Treasurer of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (AICCA). The City of Phoenix has also appointed Avalon Accounting as an accounting consultant for the Management Technical Assistance program. According to Kristina, “community involvement is the key to prosperity.”

Her unique background includes 10 years of experience in public accounting serving clients with audit and tax issues in various industries while, adhering to strict CPA standards. Kristina was involved in a coveted NASDAQ offering which very few accountants have the opportunity to experience during their careers.
